Do I need an account?
No. Install the app and start adding tasks. Everything is stored on your device. Backup to iCloud Drive or Google Drive is optional, and your phone's own system backup may also include your tasks, encrypted, in your Apple or Google account.
How does voice input work?
Your phone's own dictation turns speech into text. Notitask then reads the title, date, time and repeat from it on the device itself, in any of its 21 languages, so “every Friday” or “every 2 hours until December” just works.
Can Notitask remind me when I arrive somewhere?
Not yet. Reminders are based on time. You can attach your current location to a task or note, and tapping it opens the place in your maps app.
Will reminders still fire after my phone restarts?
Yes. Notitask sets every reminder again after a power cycle, including repeats.
Which calendars can it sync with?
On iPhone, tasks sync two-way with Apple Calendar through a Notitask calendar in iCloud, and events from your other calendars, including Google, Outlook, Exchange or Yahoo accounts added to the iPhone, show next to your tasks. On Android, tasks sync two-way with Google Calendar.
How does the AI work, and who sees my data?
AI Enhance and Smart Reschedule use Google Gemini. Only the text you choose to send is shared: it goes through our relay to Gemini, and the relay doesn't log or store it. Free includes 25 AI requests a month, Premium 500.
Can I move my tasks between iPhone and Android?
Yes. Both apps use the same backup format, so a backup from one can be restored on the other.
